JLG Telehandlers Indiana
After spending numerous years working with his brother to be able to build their crane construction corporation into a leader of the business, John L. Grove chose to stop working. John and his wife Cora celebrated their retirement by setting out on a cross-country journey using their recreational vehicle. After that specific journey, JLG Industries, Inc. emerged and became the world's top manufacturer of specialized material handling equipment and mobile aerial work platforms.
In the R.V. journey, John spent much of the time talking to prior business associates who the Groves stopped to visit along their trip. While they visited the Hoover Dam, sadly, 2 workers were accidentally electrocuted on scaffolding. During subsequent conversations, John discovered a huge untapped market for a kind of equipment which could quickly and safely raise people into the air in order to carry out maintenance and construction work.
John decided to take action after John and his wife returned from the trip. He formed a partnership with two dear friends when they purchased a small metal manufacturing company within McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. During 1970, with an initial team of 20 employees, the trio built and sold the very first JLG aerial work platform. Numerous parts of the basic design elements of that first machinery are still being incorporated into the existing product
The company has come a really long way since John L. Grove drove back into town from his cross-country journey and have grown significantly ever since they debuted their very first aerial work platform. Even today, JLG continues to expand into additional worldwide markets. Many innovative machinery are designed to help clients be more productive and work safer.
JLG has remained devoted to being the leader in the industry. The company takes operator comfort into consideration really seriously. They try to deliver in performance, in addition to safety and overall comfort so that the operator could be as effective as possible.
