In the United States marketplace, SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. Various industries such as Scrap Handling, Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, as well as many other material handling facilities including Bulk Transfer Facilities currently depending on our grabs and buckets to accomplish their jobs.

The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around delivering grabs that deal with the largest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The regular handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is about 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means moving greater quantities of materials faster. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related parts is less. Through a combination of high quality materials and innovative design with manufacturing, the weight ration which is required is obtained.

To be able to suit the specific needs of our clients' individual needs, grab sizes range from less than 1 cubic yard to over fifty cubic yards.
